31 августа в филиале JRCC South Thornhill состоялся фарбренген, посвященный 18 Элула — дню рождения Баал Шем Това и Алтер Ребе.

Темой вечера стала концепция Ахават Исраэль — любви к каждому еврею. Участники размышляли над учением двух великих хасидских лидеров о том, как относиться друг к другу с большим вниманием, теплом и уважением.

Слова Торы, содержательные беседы и искреннее общение создали особую атмосферу единства и вдохновения. Вечер оставил у участников чувство духовного подъема и желание воплощать эти идеи в повседневной жизни, семье, общине и отношениях с окружающими.

Women across the GTA gathered at JRCC branches for special Pre-Rosh Hashanah Challah Bakes, preparing for the New Year through the timeless mitzvah of challah. The evenings brought women together in an atmosphere of inspiration, friendship, music, and Jewish connection. Participants kneaded, braided, and blessed their challahs while reflecting on the year ahead, leaving inspired, uplifted, and more deeply connected to one another and to the traditions of the season.

A BEAUTIFUL NEW BABY ROOM

 

JRCC is excited to welcome its littlest learners, ages 6–18 months, into a beautiful new baby room designed for learning, exploring, and growing.

The warm and nurturing space features cozy corners, sensory play, Jewish developmental touches, and three daily meals. The room is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is limited to just 10 children, creating an intimate environment for personalized care and attention.

The CTeen Boys kicked off the new season with a fantastic get-together filled with great food, outdoor fun, friendship, and plenty of positive energy.

It was wonderful to see everyone reconnect after the summer, welcome new faces, and begin the year together in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the kickoff such a success. We missed those who could not make it and look forward to seeing everyone at the next CTeen Boys event.

Here’s to a great year ahead filled with friendship, meaningful Jewish experiences, and unforgettable moments together.
