Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes! If you donate online, you will receive an instant tax receipt via email. For donations made by cheque or cash, a tax receipt will also be emailed to you, but please allow up to one month for processing. To ensure you receive your tax receipt, kindly include your full name, mailing address, and email with your donation.
Who does the JRCC Food Bank help?
We assist Jewish families, who are experiencing financial hardship and need support.
Can I donate non-Kosher food?
No. To respect the dietary laws observed by our recipients, we only accept and distribute Kosher-certified food products.
Where can I donate food?
We gratefully accept donations of unopened, non-expired, kosher, and non-perishable food items.
