JRCC TU B'SHVAT EVENTS

JRCC communities across Ontario recently celebrated Tu B’Shvat, the “New Year of the Trees,” a time to celebrate growth and renewal, and our connection to the earth’s bounty. JRCC Woodbridge hosted Whiskey & Wisdom, blending meaningful discussion with a tasting experience. JRCC Rockford and JRCC West Thornhill welcomed women to inspiring Women’s Circle gatherings focused on connection and reflection. JRCC East Thornhill offered a creative Focaccia Garden Art workshop, combining culinary fun with the spirit of the holiday.

BAR MITZVAH CLUB SHABBATON

The JRCC Bar Mitzvah Club recently held its Shabbaton weekend retreat for participants. Bar Mitzvah boys from across the GTA gathered at JRCC South Richmond Hill and Maple to enjoy a full Shabbat experience with songs, discussions, friendship building, and fun activities. The weekend was designed to deepen their connection to Jewish tradition and community. Families joined together to celebrate this milestone, creating lasting memories and strengthening the bonds within the JRCC Bar Mitzvah Club. JRCC REBBETZINS ATTEND ANNUAL GATHERING AND CONFERENCE

A group of JRCC Rebbetzins recently attended the “Kinus HaShluchis” annual gathering and conference in Brooklyn, New York, held in honor of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, the wife of the Rebbe. The event brought together women emissaries from around the world, celebrating their vital role in strengthening Jewish life and inspiring communities. Through workshops, discussions, and shared experiences, participants received the Rebbe’s special encouragement and guidance on leadership, community-building, and bringing redemption through their work and the unique role of Jewish women.
