About JRCC Daycare

Nurturing children. Supporting families. Building a strong foundation for life.

Our Story

Serving families and children since 1994.

JRCC Daycare

A Daycare Rooted in Community

Founded in 1994, JRCC Daycare is a non-profit organization committed to providing high-quality, kosher, licensed childcare services to the Jewish Russian community in Toronto.

Our daycare was created in response to the growing need for culturally relevant and accessible childcare that supports families while preserving the values and traditions of our community.

With over two decades of experience, we have continually refined our approach to early childhood education, ensuring that every child receives a high standard of care in a warm and nurturing environment.

Our educators are carefully selected based on their experience, professionalism, and alignment with our core values. They are equipped to respond to the individual needs of each child, helping make the transition from home care to daycare as comfortable as possible for both children and parents.

Safe & Licensed

Our daycare operates in accordance with the standards and regulations of the Ministry of Education.

Ages 15 Months to 6 Years

Our Toddler, Preschool, and JK/SK programs are designed around the developmental needs of each age group.

Growing Together

We create an environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, and creatively.

Our Mission

Creating a meaningful early childhood experience where Jewish identity, curiosity, creativity, and learning grow together.

JRCC Daycare Mission

At JRCC Daycare, our mission is to provide a comprehensive and enriching educational experience that brings together Jewish and general education.

Our Hebrew program is deeply rooted in Judaic traditions, customs, and the Hebrew language, helping children develop a strong sense of Jewish identity. Through Jewish holidays and traditions, as well as hands-on experiences such as challah baking and Shabbos observance, children develop a meaningful appreciation for Jewish life and culture.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support the developmental needs of young children, with weekly themes that encourage learning and discovery through real-life experiences, community events, transportation, weather, animals, and global cultures.

Learning for the Next Step

In alignment with the Ministry of Education’s standards, our curriculum provides children with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need for the next stage of their academic journey. We are committed to building a strong and well-rounded foundation for success in elementary school and beyond.

Where Jewish Tradition Meets Early Learning

A caring community where children feel safe, valued, inspired, and ready to grow.
