SOLD-OUT SENIORS CONCERT
JRCC East Thornhill was filled with music, laughter, and community spirit as 170 seniors gathered for a special dinner and concert. Thanks to government funding, participants enjoyed an evening of delicious food and outstanding entertainment in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Registration reached capacity and closed ten days before the event, reflecting the tremendous enthusiasm for meaningful social and cultural programs for seniors. The evening was more than just a concert – it was
an opportunity for friends to reconnect, make new acquaintances, and celebrate community together, leaving everyone looking forward to the next event.
A CHUMASH GIFT FOR EVERY HOME
The JRCC has launched a special initiative to bring the gift of Chumash into every home in the community. Two beautiful editions have been published – one featuring an English translation and commentary, and another with Russian translation – to make Torah study accessible to more members of the community. Thanks to the generosity of special donors, 12,000 have already been printed, and hundreds of volunteers are helping distribute them throughout the community. This inspiring project is bringing people together with the hope that every family will receive a Chumash, study it, and enjoy the timeless wisdom of Torah. JRCC COMMUNITY FAMILY BBQS BEGIN
The JRCC Community Family BBQ season is underway, with the first event taking place at JRCC Woodbridge. Throughout the summer, each JRCC branch will host its own barbecue, bringing families and neighbors together for an enjoyable evening of food, music, and community connection. These gatherings provide a relaxed opportunity to meet others, strengthen local bonds, and enjoy the summer atmosphere. Check with your local JRCC branch for upcoming BBQ dates and details.
