Hebrew School End of Year Celebration
Mazal Tov to the 100+ students of the JRCC Hebrew School on completing another incredible year of learning and growth! The year concluded with a citywide graduation celebration bringing together students, teachers, and families from all six JRCC Hebrew School locations across the GTA, along with individual celebrations at each branch. The main event featured a multimedia presentation highlighting the year’s accomplishments, a student art gallery, and a special Aleph Champ medal ceremony. Students proudly received awards recognizing their progress in Hebrew reading and language skills, reflecting their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the year. With growing enrollment and a dynamic, hands-on curriculum, the JRCC Hebrew School continues to provide children with a joyful and meaningful Jewish education in a warm and welcoming environment. Bar Mitzvah Club Finale
After a year of learning, growth, and friendship, the JRCC S Richmond Hill Bar Mitzvah Club held its annual finale celebration, marking the culmination of the boys’ preparation for this important milestone in their lives. The event brought together participants from both the S Richmond Hill and East Thornhill Bar Mitzvah Clubs for a festive summer BBQ, where the young men were recognized for their dedication and achievements throughout the year. Each participant had the opportunity to share a meaningful reflection, highlighting personal lessons and experiences gained through the program. Parents, siblings, and grandparents joined the celebration, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere as families celebrated the boys’ accomplishments and looked ahead to their upcoming Bar Mitzvahs.
CTeen Boys Club Year-End Trip
The JRCC CTeen Boys Club wrapped up an inspiring year with an exciting tree-climbing adventure. Throughout the year, the program provided teens with a vibrant space for leadership, Jewish pride, and meaningful connection through engaging events, social action, and peer bonding. To conclude the season, the boys enjoyed a fun and challenging outdoor trip that combined teamwork, confidence-building, and plenty of laughter. The outing reflected the spirit of CTeen – empowering teens to grow, connect, and celebrate their Jewish identity in a dynamic and memorable way.
Celebration for the JRCC President
Mazal Tov to Rabbi Eliyahu Edward and Inna Kholednko on the wedding of their daughter. Wishing the new couple, Oriel and Rochel Jaclyn Cabessa, lots of simcha and bracha to fill their home! The JRCC Rabbis and Rebbetzins hosted a Sheva Brachot party to celebrate this special moment.
