NURTURING RELATIONSHIPS COURSE

In the Fall-Winter 2024, the JRCC East Thornhill hosted a course on Jewish wisdom for building deeper, richer connection in all our relationships. The six-part course, led by Ravi Mendel Zaltzman, covered a variety of topics such as empathy, communication, navigating disagreements and forgiveness. WOMEN’S BAT MITZVAH EXPERIENCE

Many Jewish women our community never had the privilege of celebrating their Bat Mitzvah. The JRCC West Thornhill is organizing a series of gatherings for for women of all ages who did not have the opportunity to celebrate their Bat Mitzvah. FIRST EVER JRCC BAR MITZVAH SHABBATON

The JRCC Bar Mitzvah Club organized its first ever Shabbaton weekend retreat for its participants. Bar Mitzvah boys from across the GTA got together at the JRCC S Richmond Hill & Maple to enjoy a full Shabbat experience with songs, discussions, friendship building and fun activities. JRCC ANNUAL BOOK SALE

In celebrating the power of Jewish books, the JRCC held a book sale through its online bookstore, offering 10% off all purchases in honor of Hey Tevet.
