Women's Trip to the Rebbe

Last month, thirteen women from the community embarked on an inspiring journey to connect with the Rebbe. Led by Rebbetzin Chanie Zaltzman, the group visited 770, the Rebbe’s study and library, and the Ohel. They attended engaging lectures and gatherings, explored local shops, and enjoyed kosher cuisine. Over two unforgettable days, participants experienced spiritual inspiration, meaningful reflection, and a deep sense of community.
International Kinus Hashluchim 2025

From November 12–17, 2025, our JRCC delegation joined the global gathering of Chabad emissaries at the annual International Kinus HaShluchim. Against the backdrop of Brooklyn’s 770 Eastern Parkway, participants delved into immersive workshops, heartfelt farbrengens, prayer at the Rebbe’s Ohel, and powerful gatherings that renewed their mission and purpose. Returning to our community, our JRCC team brought back not only fresh ideas and contacts, but a revived fire to serve, connect and shine the light of Torah and kindness in our community.
Emotional Wellness Evening

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel anxious, lonely, or drained – even while striving for balance, happiness, and meaning. Last month, the JRCC Rockford hosted and evening with Rabbi Levi Shmotkin, author of Letters for Life, who guided participants through an inspiring evening of reflection and practical tools to nurture emotional wellbeing. Drawing on the personal guidance of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, he offered timeless Jewish insights for managing life’s challenges with clarity and calm. The evening included with a post-Shabbat Melaveh Malkah dinner, creating space for meaningful conversation, community connection, and a shared sense of renewal. Participants left refreshed, inspired, and equipped with tools to bring greater balance and resilience into their daily lives.
