NEW COURSE: A WORK OF HEART
The JRCC’s Rosh Chodesh society begins a new course on prayer, “A Work of Heart - Between Me and G‑d: How Jewish Prayer Unites Heaven and Earth.” The course explores the goal of prayer, how is it done, and why ancient and formal rituals are relevant to us nowadays. The course delves into the Jewish prayer book, the prayer services, and the synagogue exposing the beating and beautiful heart of prayer that breathes within. It reveals prayer as an art and an opportunity, a means of human-to-G‑d bonding, a journey of self-discovery, a perspective changer, and an exercise in self-empowerment. The course is running at the JRCC branches in East Thornhill, West Thornhill and Woodbridge. Contact the branches for more details.
