COMMUNITY SHABBAT DINNERS
On Friday evening, January 19, all JRCC branches celebrated the
anniversary of the Rebbe’s leadership with community Shabbat dinners at each location. In addition to the special atmosphere and community bonding opportunity that Shabbat dinners always provide, this particular evening focused on the life and wisdom of the Rebbe, and how. connecting to his ideal can benefit the Jewish people and the world on a collective and individual level. Dozens of participants at each of the eight locations enjoyed delicious food, words of wisdom, song and camaraderie of Shabbat with their community, connecting with old fiends and making new ones.
TU B'SHEVAT
In honor of Tu Bishvat, the new year for trees, JRCC branches hosted a variety of engaging events for children and social evenings for adults. Tu Bishvat events provide an opportune time to reflect about our connection to the earth, the concept of growth, and to the Land of Israel –something which is especially important and moving during these times.
