Healthy at Home has successfully partnered since its inception with the JRCC's Social Services initiative. This JRCC Social Service initiative offers a wide-range of in-house programs and services to help with a variety of needs in our community. Programs such as the JRCC Furniture Depot, Meir Shlomo Simcha Gmach Fund, Jewish Vocations Services, JToronto Matchmaking Service, Free Tax Assistance, and other programs.
Healthy at Home, is designed to create supportive environments for seniors in our community, many of whom are isolated and lonely, and find it difficult to access information about health care and health care services. Healthy at Home builds networks and Jewish connectivity where seniors live - in apartment buildings along the Bathurst Street corridor. It provides them opportunities to gather in social settings in which they learn about important, and often life-saving health matters, and receive access to in-home services.
